San Diego PCC to operate weekdays
I am a qualified operator of the PCC #529. I operate the 529 on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays depending on how the assignments office skeds me. Currently the 529 operates on Tue and Thur from 9:50am to 1:50pm and on Sat and Sun from 10:50am to 3:50pm depending on the Padres Baseball sked and weekend Trolley construction. As for another car, all it takes is money. The volunteers at San Diego Electric Rwy. Assoc. are ready. There are 5 post-war PCC on property (one of which is in operation) with a sixth off property to possibly have the running gear refurbished. Ask for me if you come to San Diego and ride the 529.
