WILLIAMS CAN’T BE BEAT WITH A STICK WHEN IT COMES TO QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE. BUT, BOB SHOULD HAVE DEMOED THE HAOR AND BELL FUNCTIONS SO THAT VIEWER’S WHO ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH WILLIAMS EQUIP. CAN HEAR FOR THEMSELVES HOW GOOD IT SOUNDS. THIS WILL ALSO PROMOTE OUR HOBBY!!!
My wife bought me the sister set, The Pennsylvania Keystone. This is really a sturdy set and I have no fear allowing the grandchildren to run it on my layout. I was disappointed to learn that a FA “B” unit is not available and at the present time is not on the schedule to be added. I think it would make a good addition to this set. The sounds are good and the engine is considerably heavier than my early Alco’s.
i Think williams makes a well made product. this would make great starter set for someone just starting out.i myself have a few williams engines i like them alot.thanks
