Santa Fe MOW Gondola Numbers and Burro Crane plans?

I’m looking for numbers and or photos of Santa Fe MOW painted gondolas. I know they existed, but I could not find any photos or information in my many Santa Fe books.

Regular mineral brown gondolas were more often used on MOW trains, but I like the look of Santa Fe’s aluminum MOW paint so I’d like to simulate one for HO. Athearn used to make a nice line of MOW painted cars and they even had a Santa Fe 50’ gondola. However it has been out of production for several years.

Here’s the best online photo I could find of one, however I can’t make out the road number.

And as a side project, I’d like to “paint” up a Santa Fe MOW gondola for the computer game Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS). So any help I can get for the HO project will doubly help for the MSTS project. A more ambitious project would be to 3D model a Burro Crane (model 30 or 40). However I need plans/scale drawings and or dimensions to do it right, and so far my searches for these have been unsuccessful. But the best online photo site of Santa Fe Burro Cranes can be found here:

Santa Fe Burro Cranes

Burro crane plans are presumably in the May 1983 Railroad Model Craftsman. I donot have that particular issue to verify this.

Plans for an interesting 30 ton ATSF crane (not a Burro) are in the January 1956 Model Railroader, together with a two part article on how to scratch build the model continued in the February 1956 issue.

I keep a file of my own photos and published photos. Perhaps that will suggest some numbers…
