Several years ago I purchased a Santaland train for under our tree. I need more info on it like troubleshooting, can I get more cars, track to repair those broken by grandkids falling on it etc. One reply to someone a while back was to check a 1964 volume of a train mag. I read the article but it was too vague and too old. I need newer information. Thanks, Priscilla
As this is your first post, [#welcome][#welcome][#welcome] from all of the gang.

Let’s see if we can help you. A Santaland train? Who made the Santaland Train? Is is a Lionel or is it something else? If it is one of the major brands, just about everything you would need can be found for repair. [:D]
I think it was a cheapo set like the battery operated stuff that comes out around Christmas.
Thanks for answering, Buckeye. When I first joined in Feb 1, 04, I had all the info. Now the only thing I can remember is that it is not a classic N or HO etc. It may be a “Cheap, plastic set offered at Christmas time” because that is when I bought it in 2002 0r 2003 from Walgreens for about $70.00. It has rather large size cars with a working teeter tauter by two bears I think, and it plays music. In other words, I would have to tear the Christmas closet appart to find it right now and that would not be convenient if you know what I mean. It has a transformer and runs on electricity. Priscilla
I think she might mean this:

Well if it is this set, then yes they do have extra cars, 5 I think, and also a station.
With each car comes two straight pieces of track. Because of not being able to buy extra track, I switch over to standard ‘G’ gauge track, LBG.
Walthers has this set and all the extra cars in its last catalog.
Oh yea, Priscilla, welcome to the CTT forum
BTW, I really love this set.

The [}:)] Doctor is in!!! First, Let this humble evil doctor welcome you to the group !
Now, as to your problem: Yes as others have noted, you can buy extra cars from
Walgreen’s around christmas time. I bought a set or two, one is a regular train and the
other one is the christmas train. Both run on the metal track. I also bought the battery
model. I may have some extra cars from the christmas sets for sale, E-mail for details.
As to track, you can buy a non-christmas set(like I did) for extra track or buy G gauge
track. Till My Next Missive, I Remain The Humble, Yet Strangly [}:)] Doctor !!!
