Would like to build a working sawmill for our garden railroad. How do you find the 1968 article by Jack work? Basically want to have the logs go back and forth with the saw blade spinning.

I dont believe I can access items from the archives, as no longer have a subscription. I am mostly looking to see how the log-carriage system works, so I can build it. I just want the carriage to go back ad forth and cannot figure out what type of motor or electronic gizmo to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks
