Final

Based on MDC’s famous HO scale Oscar and Piker business cars, I needed to downsize my two Bachmann Jackson & Sharpe passenger cars down to a usable size on my layout, so after a very bad first try at chopping this on down to a 20 footer (so bad I destroyed all evidence of having 1st attemted it) This went alot faster than I thought it would (started Friday finished Monday), cutting patiently is definitly a virtue.[;)]

Next is chopping my Bachmann bashed Drover’s style combine down similar and should have enough extra parts to build 1 or 2 other similar cars.[:D]

Piker…the newest work caboose/combine for my tiny railroad, I actually think this one looks better being a bit longer, kinda wish I added one window bay to the Oscar business car[:D]

Can’t wait to see the whole string of them pulled along the layout someday! Keep it up. Incidently I’m failing at the Vsmith 10 min a day modeling advice[V].

I always wanted an Oscar / Piker set, maybe I’ll try building my own, too.[:D]
