I am going to Galesburg RR days this year and was wondering if anyone knows any scanner frequency sites. I want all the RRs, not just BNSF because i am also going to be railfanning other lines. Thanks.
Although I’m not from that area, so I can’t really help. Here is a link to a page which might help you put together a small list, if someone from that region doesn’t pop up with an answer. http://nydxa.4t.com/railscan.htm

For scanner frequencies in other areas you might try “Compendium of American Railroad Radio Frequencies, 15th Edition,” by Gary Sturm and Mark Landgraf if it is still in print. It is published by Kalmbach Publishing Company.
You’re going over there all the way from Nebraska? My wife and I are headed down there from here in CR Saturday.
yep, all the way from Nebraska. We’re doing it mostly because we want to ride the train. Since the long distance trains are most likely about to go.
traingeek087, Here’s another site that will help you. http://www.railroadradio.com/ It gives you the frequencies along the Chicago Sub. I’m going to be going to Galesburg too this year for a few days. This will be my first time. Take care. [:)] Nick
Another thing you can also do when in an area your not familiar with, is just run the whole band. There’s less than 100 freqs, so it’s not that bad. By doing that, I’ve often found channels being used for switching and other things, that were not listed anywhere previously. I have the whole band channel freq listed on my site below.
