Sculpting beavertail cactus; Visitors to the RR

Recently I made a bunch of scale beavertail cactus for the railroad. Each one was hand sculpted from Premo brand polyclay – the same material I use to make the human and animal figures. They really add a lot to the scenery! Here are a few pics, beginning with this one: . . . . . . . . . http://www.raydunakin.com/Site/IRR_Plants.html#19 . . . . . . . . . . . . Also: On Saturday, May 29th we invited all our neighbors to come see the railroad. It’s been two years since the last time we did that, so there was a lot of new things for them to see. And for many of the neighbors it was their first time seeing the railroad. I only have a few pics – as usual, when things got busy I forgot to take more pics: . . . . . . . . . http://www.raydunakin.com/Site/IRR_Events.html . . . . . .

Those flowers are tiny. I don’t think I would have the patience to do that unfortunatly. Great job! - Peter

Wow, those look amaxzing. I can’t imagine the time it must have taken to create the flowers.

Nothing nicer then cactus flowers
