SEPTA West Trenton Line/CSX Trenton Subdivision Track Separation

In recent events, a summer long construction of the SEPTA/CSX track separation is nearing completion. The double track between West Trenton, NJ and Yardley, PA has had a complete separation where they have made the Outbound track (Originally for the outbound SEPTA trains from Philadelphia) at the two stations for CSX only while the inbound track is now serving for both inbound and outbound trains along the SEPTA West Trenton Line.

Between Yardley and Woodbourne, the SEPTA line turn into 2 tracks but the CSX line remains 1 up to Woodbourne with an allowed crossover for CSX Q190 & Q191 to be able to enter the NS Morrisville Line to be able to get to Philadelphia

The process of Separation started in May 2015 which has caused most of the scheduled CSX trains to run overnight when there is no construction but is to have regular traffic by both railroads in late October 2015.

Will there be a third track for CSX between Woodbourne and Neshaminy jct.?

It seems like the loss of the flexibility of the SEPTA second track between West Trenton and Yardled could be a problem. I am guessing that the cat over the CSX line will be de-energized, so that it would not be available to SEPTA electrics in an emergency.

Oh there already is. That third track is fenced off. As well, it leaves Langhorne as one platform but Neshaminy Falls is two platforms because the CSX track splits from the SEPTA line and temporarily runs next to the Fox Chase line from Cheltenham and then begins to run alongside until Wayne Junction where it crosses under the SEPTA Lines and connects with a CSX Line that directs all trains to Philadelphia.
