Like many others I will buy things I see advertised on Facebook and other on line locations.
Unfortunately, when you order, you have no idea where the product will be coming from - will it be from the USA or some other country in the world.
Ordered a Christmas present for my son - once I got the tracking ID I found out that the product was being made in Latvia and being shipped to the USA - the product actually arrived about January 15 - so much for Christmas. Additionally I got a bill from FedEx wanting $30 for the tariff that they ‘paid’ in being the importing carrier.
Other products I have ordered seem to originate somewhere in China - tracking seems to indicate that it takes a week to a week and a half for the product to make it through China to an Export Location where, in most cases, it is loaded on a plane to the USA and ends up at a Import Customs location where it is inspected and turned over to a US carrier.
It is always interesting to look at the detailed tracking path.
