I want to get a signal bridge like this, for HO:
Where can I find one like that or do I have to scratchbuild?? [:(]

BLMA Models makes them.
The bridge pictured could either a Bachmann…

or a Model Power…

or an NJ International

BLMA, NJ International, and Oregon Rail Supply make a slew of other signal bridges.
I use IHC bridges, which seem to be out of production.

Here’s another one:
Train cat model sales (www.traincat2.com) has some brass signal bridges available in N and HO scale. I bought 2 Southern Boxcar Sill Gantry Signal Bridges for my HO layout from them and they are very nice. David Briel A Southern Railway fan.
I have both the Bachmann and the Model Power signal bridges on my layout. But, beware of the fact that both of these signal bridges are unpowered. There are fake signals made of plastic with no possibilty of powering the signals. I didn’t care because I have powered signals throughout the layout and I only use the signal bridges to locate the entry and exit points to my freight yard from a distance.
The BLMA, NJ International, and Oregon Rail Supply are either powered or can be powered depending upon the model and these signal bridges are much more realistic and better detailed. I am just too lazy to upgrade to these signal bridges.
You can light these with LED’s. I have done that on a HO scale layout. Use magnet wire, about #40 from an old relay coil. The wire will hardly be noticeable. This will be a challenge to you modeling capabilities.

So are there any signal bridges that are already powered and fairly easy to hook up? That would be sweet. I wonder if Atlas has anything like that in the works.
I used to have the Model Power signal bridge, wasn’t my thing because of the plastic fake colored lights. I want my layout to have several lit signal lights that are easy to see, it really makes it feel more like a railroad this way.
If you are prepared to pay a hefty price tag, BLMA offered assembled and wired signal bridges.
