signal layout

Is there anyone out there who can block a 19x12 layout for signals for a fee and tell me on a plan where the signals go & how they face? I am using PRR position light signals with current detection & interlocking although I would prefer to use phototransistors for detection as the track is already laid and I feel that I would have to cut a lot of gaps with current detec tion. If it were possible I would like to use Rob Paisleys optical circ uits if he has one that would fit my needs. The digitrax system looks good but I am horrible in computer savy. I use NCE power pro for running.

Thanks

Bob D

Are you using block signals, or just interlocking signals?

PRR used US&S equipment with pneumatically powered switches, not that this matters to your operation.

I use both block signals and interlocking signals. The interlocking signals of course operate off of the switch machines to give a route indication. The block signals on my layout are faked. Yes they change colors with the passing of the trains, but this is only because the signals and the trains operate from the same timing clock.

If your layout is small, you can cheat, and operate the signals by hand.
