I’m having trouble placing a picture in my signature. Any ideas?
you need an image hosting site to store your images-i use www.imageshack.us all you need to join is an e-mail adress then you can upload images from your my pictures folder(or whatever) and copy& paste one of the links they give you -paste it into the text&graphics box on your profile update and there you go- i just joined today so i’m new at this too
You must first have an account with a webhost for imaging (www.railimages.com is an example). This site’s server needs constant access to a server such as that type. You then forge a link to the photo you want to appear by copying the photo’s URL into the signature box meant to have photos in it. In front of the URL you will add “square” brackets, or [ and ], with “img” between them. At the tail end of the URL, do the same thing, but place a / immediately ahead of the img. That’s it!
Note that the signature photo in non-enlargeable.
I love them, but people with Dialup find even the small ones a problem. I admit that I grew tired of seeing the same pictures and have dropped mine.
Thanks,
I got it to work
