I am looking for wire ring connectors that will fit on a #2-56 screw and, so far, having no luck. Can anyone help?
These?
There was a thread on this about eight weeks ago but I’ll be dipped in shellac if I can find it…
Good Luck, Ed
E bay has just about anything made. I would look for a USA supplier
Not this time!
Try MPJA
Streamlined Backshop
You mean You have no Menards’/Home Depot or any other home center near You??? All You have to do is ask or look for ring terminals, solder or crimp. If You type in ring terminals on Your PC search engine I’ll bet You get all kinds of hits and locations. It is not an uncommon item. You can even type in ring terminals on Amazon and fall off Your chair from all the MFGER’S of said item.
Good Luck![swg]

I sat down at the workbench one day with Dremel handy, some drill bits, and a thin sheet of brass strip and turned out about a dozen or more in a half hour. The brass was thin enough to cut with an old pair of scissors. It was quite a few years ago and I still have a bunch left.
Pete.
I don’t know what MPJA is
I typed ring terminals and everything I got was too large
A 2-56 screw is a #2 stud size. Here is a link to Amazon. Unfortunately, you need to buy a 100-pack. If you need far less, just search for “ring terminal for a #2 stud”.

Good grief. Did anyone look at the Streamlined Backshop link I posted?
Or did I just waste my time trying to help out?[banghead]
You posted? [swg]
It looks like they are out of stock.

Well, that’s a ring of a different terminal. Could always call and see availability, or maybe get suggestion for alternate source.
Did you do a search for MPJA? Heck just go to your local auto parts store and look for electrical connections. are we leading a hourse to water and you will not drink?
DuH???

If what you are looking for is a #2 hole ground lug here is where I buy mine.
eBay search:
2.2mm Ground Lug Terminal
That comes back with this
First hit is this one
I’ve been using these lugs for connecting wires to the frames of my locomotives for as long as I can remember. They are the correct size for either #2-56 or M2 screw.

Thanks for your help Ed!
