Snap-on air brushes

Anybody know who builds the airbrushes that Snap-on sells? According to their catalog, they’re all double action internal mix units. Other than that, they don’t tell you much.

My dad is a technician and I haven’t heard any mention about it or if it is a quality product.

My dad worked as an automotove technician/service manager for nearly 30 years before becoming an auto-tech teacher at the local community college. Thus he has alot of Snap On tools. Snap on has a reputation for high quality, life time garuntee, and if it ever breaks. free replacement. So I would feel comfortable using one of hteir air brushes.

However Badger makes a great airbrush to. and their Model-200 has never let me down yet.

I’m a tech at a small dealership, and am very comfortable with using Snap-on’s products (although their prices makes me uncomfortable). I was actually surprised to see they even carried airbrushes.

My dealer is supposed to come tomorrow, but I’m leaving work early for an appointment and might miss him. I’m gonna pick his brain if I seem him.

Here’s a link to what they carry:

The Snap-On airbrushes look similar to Badger… I wonder if they are made by Badger???

My Snap On air brush is about 25 years old. It is almost identical to the blue Badger above. I had asked a badger rep at a show once, and he did confirm that it was made by them. I do most of my spraying (solvent) with it and have great results. I wouldn’t run out and buy a Snap on just because of the cost. But it from Badger instead.

Most likely. Snap-on does sell some other companies’ products under their name. Personally in terms of air brushes and paint spray guns I always preferred DeVilbiss though.

My dealer confirmed it today. The Snap-on ones are definitely relabeled Badger products.
