About a month ago, I mentioned that two E9’s were leaving Baltimore for Illinois Railroad Museum. Where are they? Has anyone spotted them? They’re pretty tough to miss: Two ex Marc, ex ex BN, ex ex ex Great Spokane Northern Colorado Pacific & Quincy still in their early BN green with Marc decals.
According to the Elgin Joliet and Eastern railroad yahoo group, they’re already there. The talk was because they were supossed to possibly go by way of the EJE, although I don’t think they did. I’ve seen a photo of them at the IRM. E-mail me and I can send you the photo, although I didn’t take it(thus I’m not posting it here).
