So, I godda question to put on the wire.

A Spectrum tender I had open to have a decoder installed decided it would skydive. It bounced off my hand twice, and landed on the floor in largely one piece. Except One black wire coming from the back truck is now free from the DCC board. At risk of blowing the board, I’m going to ask you all where it’s supposed to go.

It;s a george Washington Long Vandy if that matters. But I presume that their tenders are alike.

Black goes to the left rail in the forward direction. However, this doesn’t help you if it came loose from the decoder. You’ll need to look up the documentation on your specific decoder. I don’t recall what manufacturer’s decoders B’mann uses off hand. I’ll see if I can look it up. In the meantime, maybe someone else here knows.

Best!

If you use a magnifying glass, you may be able to see where it broke off from.
