Something for a windy day

Picked this up on e-bay, made by Aero manf co in Nebraska. Bit of a fiddle for big hands, but got there!

Kimbrit, I also picked up one and you are right about the BIG HANDS. I used long needle nose pliers to hold the nuts and it worked out fine. I think it’s a great little windmill for a G Scale farm and you can’t beat the quality or the price. Ron

That is a rather intresting idea.

Nice model Ron, I have to say I saw it and bought it without knowing anything about it, methinks a water tower by the side of it for loco’s.

Cheers,

Kim

PS This took some writing, just got back from pub, Lancaster Bomber at 4.4%, lots of!!!

I agree Kim, it’s a very well made and a nice looking model. I also bought mine without being able to touch it. Mine will go on my outdoor layout between the barn and the farmhouse. I do think I will weather it a bit because it’s just to new looking and I think it need’s a little rust here and there.

Regards,

Ron

Kim;

Someone we both know bought me a very similar windmill except she got her centimetres and millimetres mixed up and it was 10 times the size it should be.
