I have the athearn sw1500 h0 dcc ready and I am searching a sound decoder for this model.

I have installed some mobile decoders before but sound decoders are new for me. Any idea or advice?

Well, I have installed quite some ESU Loksound decoders. Here’s my HowTo for an RS-1.

Therre is a DCC forum you might try also. Sound decoders come under DCC electronics.
