Good day all!..the reason for this post is simple…I have decided to go 100% or close to it with sound equiped engines only…( have 10 now )…i love them! My question to all is that i want Good quality only, ie Atlas…and wondering if anyone knows of a release of older deisel engine ie gp 7 or 9 etc that are mfg sound euiped…see ATLAS releasing GP7 again,but man would i buy that if it was already sound equiped…any help?..thanks Tom
Well Life-Like offers their GP-9’s and E-unit passenger diesels with sound. BLI has an NW-2 switcher with sound, and an F-7 now too.
I would anticipate that any new releases from Atlas, LifeLike and of course BLI would come out with some available with sound. The new Atlas are available with sound, but unless you preorder they are hard to come by.

Don’t forget that if there is a particular locomotivemodel that you like but is not available with sound, you still have the option of having sound installed by professionals like Tony’s Train Xchange or Litchfield Station. These guys perform excellent DCC / Sound installations and their reputations are top notch!
