I was watching my new Dream, Plan, Build Vol #7 and they were installing sound modules under the layout. I think this is something that I would like to try too. Suggestion as were to purchase them? Thanks
Well, I’ve never ordered from these guys, but you can’t beat the price:
They have a good variety of sounds. I’m not ready to install anything like this yet, but I’ve got plans to add “screeching brakes” to my subway stations. I did swap e-mails with them, and they have a provision for downloading recorded sound to the modules, so you can really put any sound you want on them.
ITT carries a variety of sound boards that can be activated in various ways. They will also create custom boards. George will send you to a sound effects site and if you can find what you want, he’ll put it on board at no extra cost. http://www.ittsound.com/
