I am staying with my son (escaping from western NY) down in Dania Beach Florida. Do any CTT forum members have any favorite hobby shops that I should visit while I am down here? Thanks for any info.

The best store is Ready to Roll in North Miami-- address is 831 NW 143rd St. Miami fl 33168. It’s just about 2 blocks west of I 95 in a semi-industrial area. Phone number 305-688-8868. I go there for all my major buying. There is also Warrick’s custom Hobbies in Plantation, just off of University Drive at Peters road(just north of I595). Phone number is 954-42- HOBBY(46229). They have a large part of the store devoted to all popular train scales.
These are the two I go to that are south of me, there is one store that I go to occasionally, but it’s up in Lantana- a good 50 miles fron Dania Beach.
you can also check the phone book for other shops, as there where other hobby shops in dade & broward counties, but I don’t know if they still exist–
