Southern California passenger services get joint timetable
Metrolink has shown schedules of Amtrak trains in its corresponding timetables for the Ventura County and orange County lines, but the Metrolink trains were not shown in the Amtrak timetables, only a few notations were made. The only other commuter rail service to really show corresponding Amtrak schedules along its routes was the VRE, showing NEC trains on its Fredericksburg line, and even included the Crescent and Cardinal schedules, as well as the NEC Lynchburg train on its Manassas line.So realistically, the VRE was first in the nation to adopt such a concept systemwide.
The download I got showed only the “Coast” service - no inland Metrolink service. It only includes lines under LOSSAN’s umbrella. Not a true Southern Cal joint timetable.
