OK, you may notice that this thread started 2.5 years ago! I think I finally am done. I have a nice IHC 2-6-0 locomotive with a Bachmann Vanderbuilt tender, a selection of Harriman passenger cars, and a selection of heavyweight passenger cars that I can use to stage railfan excursions on the Oakhurst Railroad. I also have added a daily passenger, mixed, or freight train to my daily train operations (from staging). Thanks for your suggestions along the way!

Marty, are your Harriman passenger cars the MDC/Roundhouse cars or the Model Power? Great picture, from what I’ve seen here on the forums, you have a beautiful layout.
They are MDC/Roundhouse cars. Only had to search a couple of weeks on E-bay to find three of them, painted and lettered by the previous owner for “Southern Pacific Lines”. The lettering doesn’t show in the pictures I’ve taken so far. If you look carefully, you might see that the roofs don’t seal perfectly, which is common for the MDC cars …
