What Locomotives did SP use for the trains?

Get on YouTube, and search for “SP Oil Can Trains”. SP used many different types of EMD locomotives. I recall that over Tehachapi (spelling???), SP tended to keep toward the SD45T-2, and SD0T-2 model in areas with lots of tunnels. However, I would image that the power desk would use whatever power was available. Maybe an Espee guy can give more detailed information on this topic.
