I am just trying to get some feedback from folks that have thinned Squadron; what did you use and what were the results. Thanks
MEK or Ambriod Proweld (whatever’s n the bench at the moment). It makes the Squadron a little easier to spread and a bit stickier, and easier to smooth the top surface. However, it shrinks a bit more too.
Yeah, just go slow and thin , use several coats to do what your doing.
I am filling in some gaps as a result of adding the streamlined cowling to the roof of a baggage/dormitory (Santa Fe). It is a small area, but it has proven to be a real pain.
I’ve used vinyl spackle and it works great. Fill it in, let it dry, and refill if need be. After you’ve sanded it smooth, paint over area or joint.
