I will be visiting the St Louis/St Charles area this weekend and want to know if anyone can recommend a favorite LHS in the area. Always like to look in other areas.

there is actually a train show tomorrow, sat jan. 17 in St. Charles.
it’s put on by the St. Charles club at the Heart of St. Charles Banquet Center right next to the Ameristar Casino.
Skip the hobby shops and go to the Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood outside of the city. it is one of the best train museums in the US. It has a Bi-Polar, Aerotrain, Big Boy, Y6b, NKP 4-6-4, NYC Mohawk, Frisco 4-8-2 and 2-10-0, Pennsy P5a, SP 4-8-4, ATSF 2-10-4, CN 4-6-2, DMIR 2-10-2, and a whole bunch more.
