I am getting ready to depart Thursday morning for the St Louis RPM in Collinsville, IL. This Fri/Sat event has grown rapidly and may be bigger than the old Naperville RPM’s of years past. I am dragging two friends along this time. Anyone else from this group attending?

Those of us who cannot or will not attend would appreciate some sort of report on the highlights of this meet. While some of my discussions with certain prototype modelers have been, shall we say, challenging, we all have benefited from the literature (such as the Railway Prototype Cyclopedias) that has resulted from their efforts as well as the greater emphasis on specific model accuracy from the manufacturers. I recall going to a clinic or two at the 1985 NMRA national convention in Milwaukee that may well have been the origin of the prototype modeling movement.
