ST. Paul Railway Museum!

WOW< WOW , WOW, I went there today and got to do two AMAZING Things, Work ( i mean ACtually run it, with my own hands) a 125 foot Turntable. And got to ride in the Cab of a SW-7. All for a mere 7 bucks, Simply Amazing, Highly recommened. But you have to ask the Volunteers to be able to do all this, so dont be shy! I was actually standing on the Turntable and working the throttle as it was turning, THe volunteers guided me in seting up the track positioning properly. Then the SW7 , Rolled right over my handy work. I had a grin from Ear to EAR. NOw, Also, they had Several Doodlebugs on exhibit there. Which, I then went stright to my LHS and bought a Walthers Doodlbug. I will not go into my frustration here with that, But you can read all about it 2 other threads!

if your still around there, go visit the minnesota museum of mining, it has a model railroad display built by an artists that was featured in MR years ago, he has since passed away so the museum aquired his layout.

Only $7 WOW!!! Sounds Fun and at a very Good price

You must be talking about the Minnesota Transportation Museum’s Jackson Street Roundhouse. I haven’t been there for a while, at least not since the turntable was reinstalled. It does sound like fun.

By the way, Chisholm is about 200 miles away. Not exactly around the corner.

For $7, I would take that opportunity up in a flash!
