You could do what I’ve done from time to time and make V-crimp sheets from aluminum foil. Looks very realistic.

Have you ever seen V-crimp steel sheets? It’s a flat metal sheet with a V crimped into it far to one side. When they are being put onto a roof, the V’s overlap and align the sheets.
To model the way the sheet looks, cut some aluminum foil into scale size 3 by 7 sheets (or whatever size you wish). press the foil completely flat. To get the V-crimp, carefully drag the edge of a flatpoint jeweler’s screwdriver blade over the right side of the sheet, about an actual 1/8th of an inch from the edge. this will give you the crimp. There’s only 1 crimp per sheet.
