I have a Starr- Tec hogger 100 that seems to have died. cant find a web site or address, only test results from the 80s & 90s. Does anyone know if they are still in business & if not where I could send it for repair. Maybe someone out there has had experience with this model. Thanks…Jerry
Jerry,
You have a duplicate of this thread:

It would be good if you could delete the other one. Thanks. [:)]

Tom…good idea, how do you do that. I posted it & it didn’t show up so I posted again & both showed up.
Can you elaborate on what it is? I’m pretty good at finding stuff online.
Jerry,
It’s really easy. Go into your original post. In the upper right hand corner where the text is, you should see a series of buttons: reply — quote—delete—edit. Click the “X delete” button and go through the procedure for deleting your post. That’s it. Let me know if that works for you.

Yes, the starr-tec hogger is a 12-18 volt power pack that has a hand held throttle connected by a telephone cord. thanks
Thanks for the instructions…seemed to work. Jerry
Jerry,
Do you have any way to test the output of the transformer to see if there is any power going to the rails? If there is any power at all showing up at the rails, then the phone line connecting the throttle could be bad. If there is no juice at all, then the transformer would be bad.
