Wondered what happened after the substantial fire a couple of years ago that caused an estimated $3 million dollars in damage (As I recall). Never heard anything further about it.
Has it been rebuilt and reopened?
The W&LE is still advertising railcar and locomotive repair as services offered on their website, so it should still be operating.
