Hey Sean,
See you have made some progress on the DAV&P. Seems you “lost” the elevator and gained enough right-of-way to get to the upper levels via a gradient. Keep up the good work. Also say “Hi” to Stephy the Trainmaster and tell her she did a great job keeping the train “on the money.” Can’t wait to see the next installment…roadbed?, scenery?, what?

Well the elevator is still there, stuck in one spot. The elevator was cool to show to visitors, but it became a pain for operating. So I started to lose interest in the trains. Then I worked a deal out with the wife witch worked out better for both of us. The turntable that was used on the second level on the back side of the elevator, left little space to use the dryer. The wife and daughter did not say anything to me but I found out they where always getting their heads bumped on the bottom of it. Now the tracks run over the top of the dryer and over the back. The tracks also make a loop under the stairs. A drop leaf lets ½ the loop under the stairs fold out of site when trains are not running. Now everyone is happy, and darn I can run 10 car trains now! WOOOO!

Very nice video. I have just mailed $27.44 to MR for a beautifully done DVD. I just watched a 28 minute video for free! I know that the little train master will always remember your railroad. I wish that my late dad and I had done something like this when I was a child. I loved him very much, but he was a coin collector!
