Steam Train excursions in Historic Downtown Phillipsburg

Anyone interested in riding some of the best steam train excursions in New Jersey come to Historic downtown Phillipsburg, located just across the Delaware River from Pennsylvania.

The train runs Saturdays and Sundays 11, 12, 1, 2, & 3.

1950s Open window commuter cars from the long island railroad, and bi-level cars from Chicago & Northwestern RR.

Also a gift shop car on the train.

The steam engine is the newest piece of equipment on the train. It was built in 1989 by the TangShan locomotive works in China from an American design dating back to World War II.
