Ok, I’m actually doing this!

I’m buying a non Athearn based locomotive! [:0]
Ya, that’s right, ME!

I’ve got reserved at my LHS a Stewart ALCO C628.

Does anyone know what KD’s I’m going to need for this?

You can check the Kadee web site for their conversion chart:

According to the link: ALCO C-628 “Century” … #26/#46 (The second one should be the smaller, more prototypical coupler.)

I’m proud of you! You have taken a step in the right direction! I would first try #5s, and if that doesn’t work, ask the LHS employees.
May i ask what road it is?

The loco is a D&H unit.

I use # 5’s on all 8 of my 628’s and they work fine.
