Just finished watching Emperor of the North for the umteenth time. How did the get the actors to do the stunts called for in the movie? When you watch it, it’s amazing. I think it was done before computer special effects and in the movie you see Lee Marvin, Borgnine and Carridine doing some dangerous stuff. Anybody got any insight on nhow this was accomplished?

Chas has it right on back in the good old days stuntman were teh most important men for an action movie. Hooper was a great movie for stuntmen heck the list of stuntmen was the longest part of the credits.
