Good photos this week.
Spankybird, Frank53 - what kind of cameras are you using? Nice sharp photos.
Scottsmith - the floodlights you’ve built into your layout provide some interesting lighting for your photos.
Northwoods Flyer - I just took the trash out to the curb. We’ve got some snowflakes drifting around here on the plains. To find the weather you want, you will have to transfer onto the Texas Special and ride it to the southern end of the line.
The camera I am using is a Fuji finepix S2000HD. It is 10 magapixel with 15 to 1 zoom. This is the best camera that I have ever had. I have only had this one for about a month now. My last two cameras were also Fujis.
Will sat great job as always to the regulars. I do se we have some newer posters. Great job to them and keep on posting. Join us on the “Coffee Pot” too.
Scott: Congratulations! I’ve enjoyed your layout photos for some time now. Great to see you published in CTT!
Seayakbill: Nice little switcher! If I only had a dock.
Charlie: Your sister did a great job on the people! I have a stock of those trees as well! I’ve read a few things about using a glycerine mix to keep them from drying out.

Fuji does make some nice cameras. Lumix is another. I have a Canon Digital Rebel EOSxt 8megapixel. Just bought the standard and zoom lenses with Image Stabilization, very nice and helps with action and my every slight shakiness. I also bought a wireless remote for it, but am less than impressed with its performance. I probably need to play with it some more to get the hang of it.
I’m trying to get this whole picture thing figured out! Love all the pic’s, this is my son Wyatt operating his mag crane (if you can see it ).

My favorite RR, the Spokane Portland & Seattle

I am using a Sony Cybershot 6.0 megapixel with a 12x zoom.
I have had this camera for about two years now and I am sure that it is now considered to be well behind the technology curve.
However, I am pleased with the photos I get and don’t feel I would see a notable improvement by switching to a newer camera.
I shoot everything on a tripod and use at least a two second delay.
Thanks to everyone for sharing; I look forward to this feature every week. Wish I could think of a composition or item of enough interest to be worth sharing, but I’m very low rail, and most of my engines and cars a fair common I think.
Really liked the tinplate steamers and layout. I think the hi-rail setting nicely enhances the engines and vice versa. Looks like they are modern era reissues, am I right?
Better late than never…
Buckeye - got any more shots of the BL-2?

There is another one on the website. See below.
Looks good. Thanks.
Okay Guys I finally got it figured out with a little help from my nerdy friend!
Here is Wyatt playing with the log loader!
Here he is unloading the car! Notice the blank area in front of the unloading track, that is the area reserved for his saw mill that he is getting for his 9th b-day!
And last, a scenery shot across our layout!
