Good morning train fans. Here’s the way I deal with dust. I built this last week for some of the more expensive engines, and the steamers that are really hard to dust. The expensive part is the glass. Now all I need is another 10 of these…Tim

Frank, Lookin good.
Very nice photos everyone! Good to see Santa in that parade. A question for Frank53. Whose backgrounds are you using for the backdrops? I have been mulling over using some and haven’t seen anything geared to O gauge… but then maybe a backdrop doesn’t have to be geared as such? Nice photos though, all, thanks.
Jim
Is that a C420?
Nice pics guys, and Jonadel, I like that Santa Boxcar, very nice!
Here are some pictures, that I took of the Polar Express in Dennison, OH
This is a nice train station. F - 7’s pulled the train, one on each end.
The all-too-colorful backdrops on each side of teh corner are HO stuff, called “Instant Building” made by a company called Instant Horizons. I scanned and enlarged tthem 175%. In hindsight, it should have been about 165%. I then printed them on large sheets (love my 17 x 22 printer) and spray mounted them to black foam core. I cut the outline with an x-acto knife. I may separate the individual building and bring one forward and put one back to give more depth. I also intend to install some HO goosenecks over some of teh signs and doors to lite it up and make it more realistic. Lastly, I am going to weather the whole thing to tone down the brightness.
In the corner is a photo I got from the Perth Amboy historical society website, Perth Amboy being my old home town. It lets the street keep going and going.
A Canadian log cabin Christmas.

Thats actually an Alco RS11, in the correct D & H paintscheme. They had the engine delivered from NJ and brought up by truck and trailer. Its a nice looking engine[;)].

The first two photos were taken at Marion, Ohio where mainlines of the CSX and NS cross. A great railroad town.
Chuck’s photos reminded me I had not ever posted these taken in November of Dennison, Ohio. Another great railroad town.
