Couldn’t find the one for this weekend yet, so I guess I’m the one to bite it’s head off…

It’s funny to see the sudden change in depth just by adding a few strokes of color on the background…

Great photos gentlemen, you too Chief, except how did you make that fake smoke?

I can’t believe I’m doing this. Im actually at a computer fair selling stuff from a booth, but it is kinda slow. So not doing anything, got a Wi-Fi connection and thought would post some pictures of Chris’s J Series Engine, I got at York. Actually after these pics were taken is when it got rear-ended by one of the guys in the club. Fortunately no damage. (we were parked on a siding).

The last picture was just before the crash. (Keith called me this am and said he would not ship my 1688 to me unless I promised NOT to take it to the club.)

OK Chief,

Here’s a couple of pictures of the layout in Pidgeon Forge, Tn

The front of the store…

The layout had G, O, HO trains all running at the same time, plus an aerial tram

This was their Garden RR

If you spotted the guy on Crutches - he was with me.

These pix were made last year in Bryson City, NC. Had a great train ride from Bryson City to Nantahala Outdoor Rafting Ctr., traveling across Fontana Lake and along the Nantahala River - watching kayakers and rafters navigating Class 4 rapids.

They have a really nice, large layout in the Lionel Museum. Nice col

New power makes it’s debut at the museum last friday. [^]

Unfortunately we got pretty busy so I was unable to get photos of the passenger cars I have to run with these. [:(]

@Lisa NC, If my memory serves me right, the layout at the end of your post has been in one of the CTT’s… With running water.

Today I painted the ship for the harbour, and the backgrond in the eagle canyon/wetlands area. I don’t have a picture of the ship yet, but the canyon I have…

The railroad crossing @ eagle canyon:

Eagle canyon itself:

and the thunderstorm @ the wetlands:

Great photos and videos, Guys.

I always enjoy looking at them on Sunday.

We now have real low air fares to San Diego…I’m getting the itch!!

Daan - Sorry, I have no idea since I’ve only been in the hobby for a year or so. But you are correct about the running water. There are several water features on that layout, most are artificial but one the the corner is a real waterfall that starts at about 8 ft high and ends as shown in the picture below. Good memory. Your layout pictures are great! Most impressive!
