Doug,
That Western Hobbycraft trolley looks great, and so does your layout.
Best regards, Ken
What a neat scene! Nice pic.
Brent, enjoyed the tour of the roundhouse museum…planning on getting up to see that real soon.
Laz, I like the strip mining scene…and the way you have it laid out when coal gets sprinkled all over the place it’ll just look normal since there’s coal everywhere already! Brilliant. Coal operations and trains are like peas and carrots
Chief nice mountains…any chance you’ll stick some trees into/onto them? I have a feeling my train layout will look like yours once I get around to setting it up. Who needs scenery when you’ve got TRAINS?
Roland
Another great tolley Doug!
Does this auto reverse? Will they run on the catenaries?
Thanks,
Kurt

John,
There were so many engines to see I’m not sure which ones we saw! LOL! There is a whole section out by the parking lot that we didn’t get to go through… The few I mentioned were the high lights (restored or nearing restoration). I would like to get back there again to really take some pics (would be a great place to test out your new camera as there are lots of inside and outside shots with different lighting levels). I’ve had my EOS for 2 years and I’m still learning how to use it - I think I need to read the user manual!
Roland,
I highly recommend the museum! For train enthusiasts it is really a treat and my wife (who steadfastly declares she is not into trains had a great time too).
Good looking photos all! JASPER, I had to count the rails to make sure you weren’t sneaking some HO pics in there. Nice modelling! 88 - B&ORR Museum should hire you as their new spokesman! C&O looks good on the Carpet Central.
Chief,
I see the dookie mountains got a makeover. Good idea. Now your room won’t look like a huge BM! [(-D]
Frank53, your photos leave me feeling flat.
Jim
for the sake of your family, I will refrain from posting gas cars in the future.
Thanks for the compliment, Ken.
Kurt, it doesn’t auto-reverse like the #60. It goes forward - neutral - reverse. You have to power down to go into the next sequence.
LOL!
Hey - while I was there I got to thinking about the layout… I know dangerous thing for me to do - THINKING that is… anyhoo - do you know of a book on Bridges within the B&O/C&O system?
Baltimore & Ohio RR Standard Plans for Maintainance of Way and Construction (Circa 1907).
P.S. I’ve got one [:D].
Is it still in print? Can you send me the ISBN so I can try and find a copy?
Danke…
Thanks ROLAND, I have this (strip mine) under my cellar steps its in an area abot 4 ft x 4 ft.

Chief,
You may want to add a few trees or lichen to the tops of the mountain so the NE Yankee don’t razz you as much. Hopefully the N.E. bat got his snout full of snow from that comment of his!
Lee F.
He says no snow but inches of rain [flooding]. Told him not to mess with Mother Nature nor the Chief. [;)] Lee, that is just temporary. Will be using hydrocal and make some 3D looking stuff at the portals [actually they will then not be touching the wall]. Then trees and rocks. Wife is going to paint trees on the flat surface left.
Take it easy on the chief, he had the colors perfect for the California hills.
During the spring, after the rainy season, they are a nice lush green but come summer and no more rain they turn a nice crunchy brown. [:P]
