I have a Sunset CB&Q O-5 with QSI DCC. I am having a problem resetting the decoder back to factory defaults. I have tried the obvious things. Any ideas?

Yes, replace it! Sorry, I know this doesn’t answer your question, and I’m not trying to be flippant, but those old QSI decoders are now quite obsolete and seem to become more problematic with age. 2 years ago I decide to replace the 6 I had (I was experiencing problems like yours) and have not regretted it. That said, best way to reset QSI decoders is with the three CV approach: CV49=128, CV50=255, CV56=113. Hope this helps.
