to Pennsy58, thank you again for the info on the decoder. I just tried the unlock function and then re-entered the address and it works fine. It seemed very odd that only one decoder of three purchased did not take 4 digit address. Again thank you for your help, was beginning to regret my foray into the DCC realm of model railroading.
Woo Hoo. Glad to here your problem has been resolved. Just like most things I have tried for the first time, DCC has made me wonder why I did it at times. Most certianly, other things with DCC will crop up to drive you nuts. It is worth it though. I have increased my enjoyment of the hobby with DCC. Takes time and patience.
