First of all, your all wrong, Dodge reigns supreme over all of these sucka’s. Viper, hmm, Ford cant beat it unless you soup(Lol) it up. Chevy can get it done, but not by much. Chevy trucks SUCK period, and Ford isnt gonna hold a candle to Dodge. By style and engine. Sooooo, now that you all get this in your head, ill continue.
“what has ford done to you?”
Lol, broke down on the road in -20* degree weather…
you deserved it if you are ragging on them so hard but i bett that a ford gt could beet a viper though that is a cool sar too maby we should not be fococusing on the manufacturer but on the car, sorry lets get back to trains and not cars, by the way what happened to dock 611 he use to be a regular? no more cars ok its good to have opinions about cars but i dont constently say things about the maunufactures
oscaletrains, referring to “what has Ford done to you?”
My dad has had a Ford Explorer for the past year and a half, and he has had had more problems with it than any of his other car’s combined. And one other thing, You are not going to tell me to SHUTUP, OK. It is MY opinion, and I WILL express it when I want to, OK?
Did Chevy have to lay off 30,000 workers, NO. Did Dodge, NO. But Ford did. They could be filing for Chapter 11 very soon.
Alec, I do indeed like Dodge, and love the RAM1500 with a HEMI in it, that thing car roar if you put some nice sized pipes on it.
Well, I do not want to go to sleep mad, but do not tell me to shutup about my personal opinion.
Okay guys, this is starting to remind me about the FIRST teen railfan place, yeah the one that got locked out. Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge, okay, opinions run high, and poeple even get into fist fights about this.
My opinions: I have grown up around Ford trucks. My dad bought one of the first Exploeres to hit the streets. He put 100,000 miles on it, with out incedent. After that he bought a V8 Explorer, which we pulled a camper with and drove to and from Wyoming with on multiple ocasions. Sure, little problems here and thwere, but nothing major. After that, my dad got an Expedition, we drove that to California and back, pulling a trailer…problems: ZERO! And man, was that a nice truck. Dads latest, and greatest rig is an 04 Jeep V8 grand Cheeroke. problems so far: Zero…it has been to Montana and Duluth and Kentucky pulling a trailer and going farther off road that most poeple here in Chicago could even imaghine. Chevy…? never been aroud Chevys.
Okay friends, we have all had different experiences with the big three, and they have certainly shaped our opinions. SO, before this topic gets locked out again. Lets STOP BICKERING!
[:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!] NOW i’m mad. how about the chevy 400 small block V8’s? THEY are quite the engine. 300+ horsepower
YES,YES,YESSSSSSSSSSS!!! I don’t know how this happened even though I wasn’t suppose to get The loco until March but… Today I bought myself a U28B in the Milwaukee road paint scheme. Protto 2000!!! My word I have to say that they have Atlas beat out in there locomotives. ( I still like Atlas very much and will probably keep buying from them) This unit has so much detail and runs so much quieter than the rest of my units, it’s unbelieveable!! I am so happy. [:D] Sorry If I’m glotting about this but it’s great.
I’ll post pictures of the unit. the best part is I made the rotary beacon on the locomotive actually work!!
It was actually fun today. The spani***eacher was out again, which meant that I had back to back study halls. No homework either, so I had an advantage today.
Well, saw the BNSF Brainerd Local and 2 coal trains today. They were coming off a 10 mph speed restriction so Im looking down the tracks and see a train…a min later…smoke just comes pouring out! 5 min later, thing blows by doing 50 mph (the coal trains) AWESOME!
tmccman wc im sorry were all frends lets not fight like kindergardners i like doge and all the others its just i prefer ford but over all trains besides gm is great i guss, they buld trains thanks chris for breaking this mess up so lets get back to TRAINS.
oh man i was in such a quwarl about cars[:(] i missed my 150th post
by the way has anyone herd from dock611?? he was a reagular here
Sorry for my recent absence. I’ve been working on a roster of all of the loco’s I saw on all railroads since May 1, 2005. My CSX roster is complete. I’ve just started the NS roster. CSX totaled out to about 700 locos.
In my opinion, let’s create a truce here. This discussion (argument [B)]) of cars is really getting on my nerves. And like Chris said, we don’t want this “TEEN RAILFAN PLACE” to get locked like the last one…then we’ll have to start fresh all over again [xx(].
Colin- That little remark that CMSTPP made was taken way too seriously by you, no offense. You acted like he called you a s. o. b. or a m’er f’er. If you catch my drift. And to be honest, since I’m not a car fanatic, I really don’t care which is better. I don’t want to come on here and read about this crap when it’s a train based forum.
My grandfather worked for Ford and my other grandfather worked for Chrysler. So, see, I have both in my blood and you don’t hear me arguing about it! I’m not trying to act like I’m in control or anything like that, but please, this has gone on long enough (2 some pages).
Going railfanning this weekend if I bring “missed” school assignments home [|)]. Which pretty nuch sucks since other assignments are from last semester.
Oskar- Have you seen the CSX “Chessie” units (if I didn’t ask already). I’ve seen 9121 and 9122. You’ve probably seen all…
Ok, first off, Colin, the remark was made to me and Kale, not you.
Second, look at how mature we all are. We are settling this by oursleves. We have come a very long way since the first one! Mr.Berstrom would be proud.
BTW, I own a ford AND a chevy and they both run great! cept the chevy’s eons old…lol
Come guys it’s “TRAIN” time.
Alright I just thought I would ask this. Does anyone here own a Nathan or Leslie horn.
I’ve always liked the Nathan P5 and Nathan K5LA chimed for Amtrak, and the common K3LA.
I’ve wanted to buy one of these horns, but since I’ve been watching these type of horns go for over 700$ I don’t think I will be getting one in the near future.
here is a question I’ve been wanting to ask. It’s kind of a trivia question. In railroad terms what does DTC stand for?
Maybe NON railroad employyes next time!!! LOL JK Will. What is Direct Traffic Control then?Well, about to head over to my sopt thru 2 miles of woods to go railfanning on a line with maybe 8 trains a day. BNSF coal.
