I’ve used Terraserver many times to research rail-related items. Both Tunkahanock and Starucca Viaducts are visible in Terraserver images (as are many more, I know - I’ve just looked at those two), and many old RR ROWs can be picked out, if you know where to look. I’ve seen pictures that showed the ROW of a RR that was removed in the 1860’s!

Those sites are really cool. Go to mapquest.com, plug in your address and get the photo. Big brother lives.

Also TMI is on that page and all you have to do is move east a mile and there’s my house.
