They did not sell that railroad as they do not own it. IPH bought the AHR operation as the new operator.

Thats great news.

Great news for the TSRR. Have been following them from the beginning and track going INTO service is better than out of service. Possibly equipment could be on display in Palestine like a railfan event I remember from 1992. The entire railroad has never looked better!!

What would needed to be transported to the area?

IPH bought out AHR’s equity in the TSR. There is a lease-purchase deal in our involvment in the TSR. As of this point we have somehting over 50% equity in TSR. Eventually we will own averything above ground, TX retains the land.

We have had inquiries from crude oil shippers and an oil-field chemical company has purchased property online to relocate to the TSR.

One part of Mr. Knoob’s comment needs to be clarified. What is the definition of “above ground?” Ballast, ties, track and associated materials are above ground, but could also be considered “land improvements.” I would assume that IPH would eventually own the salvage rights if they paid for the improvements in the first place.
