Hello,
No, the car doesn’t have lights, they’ve been factory-installed since it came out of the box.
Does anyone have the part number for the boogie board so I can buy a new one ?
Have a nice day.

Hello, I just had another problem with a melted truck on a locomotive.
This is the third melted truck: one on my RDC, one on a car, and now on a locomotive. I don’t dare run my trains anymore for fear of destroying everything. I’m posting a photo of the truck. Please contact me if you’ve already heard of this problem.
Are you running with DC or DCC?
EDIT: and if there is a switch on the unit for HO scale or N scale, are you using the N scale setting?
Another Edit: And do you have an inexpensive volt/ohm meter?
Hello, I’m using a DCC with a Digitrax DCS 52 control unit. There’s no selection of the scale used.
I think I may have found the solution. I had just thoroughly cleaned both trucks with F-gasoline and then with KF 2F product. I restarted the locomotive before the product was completely dry, and I think this is the cause of this overheating. What do you think of this idea?
Sorry, don’t know what those things are.
I still think it would be a better idea to use a volt/ohm meter to check for track voltage or shorts.
I agree, to my mind, dirty track doesn’t create overheating symptoms!
Cheers, the Bear.
Hello, here are some photos of my DIY project for installing Digitrax signals on my train layout. Since it was impossible to screw the supports in from below the running surface, I had to find a solution for installation from above by making a plastic plate on which the signal support is fixed.

That’s all well and good. But you should have started a new topic.
May we assume that your melting side frame issue mysteriously went away, or did you find a culprit?
