The Canadian Canyons French

Hello, some pictures of my Canadian Canyons network that I started building 3 years ago. There is still a lot of work to do for the scenery, it takes time, because I can only work on it 3 or 4 months each year. If you are interested I have lots of pictures of the construction stages.

Welcome to the forum, erick_huguet!

Sorry to say I could not see any of your photos. I got an error message when I clicked on the link.

It looks like some others have been able to see the photos, so it must be a problem with my computer.

Is it possible for you to post your photos on this forum instead of linking to them?

Gorgeous scenery! Those canyons are excellently carved friend, and the trains look excellent running through them! Really taking advantage of N Scale’s ability to make big scenes! Thanks for sharing, very nice!

Awesome, mountains! Looking forward to seeing how the scenery continues to develop! N scale is the best for capturing big mountain railroading in a reasonable space.

Hello, I have a small problem with one of the car in my Kato Via Rail set. While the train had been running for about 45 minutes without any problems, a derailment was caused by the sleeper car which was in the middle of the train. Of course this derailment occurred in the helical loop to facilitate access. After observation I noticed that the car had a truck and an axle completely melted. I can’t understand what happened, and I’m a little afraid that it will happen again if I don’t find the cause. Have you ever had this problem, and can you tell me what the reference of this truck is because I have just searched on different spare parts sites and I can’t find anything.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Welcome on board, erich_huguet.

Awesome looking ‘mountains’. Well done.

Oh my, looks like you had a short circuit in the car. I recommend that you make sure the root cause is fixed. Sorry, I can’t help with parts. Who made the car, Rivarossi?

Very nice layout, Erick!

I have Kato passenger trains, and I’ve never seen that happen. Does this passenger car have lighting? I would guess Canalligator is correct and it was caused by some kind of short – I can’t believe that just running the car would heat that enough to melt. I’m not an expert, though.
