Hi Brian, great railroad, what type of roadbed did you use?
The layout’s roadbed is all track floating on a ballasted trench. As the base of the trenches I used pea gravel, and the top few inches is cruched limestone. it stays in place pretty well, every other year seems I need to replenish some areas. It’s still a work in progress, I’m just an amatuer with a passion for all trains. The layout is all track power, with 2 independently controlled loops. Hopefuly a much better video to come soon.

Nicely done, I favour the caboose view as it does not seem like the fairground ride that some folk achieve.
