The Incredible Craft Stick

For those who may not be aware,
An awesome way to save money and
build many things easily and solid is by
using CRAFT STICKS.

I discovered these when I began my layout a few years ago and
have saved lots of money in the process. I have built bridge decks,
piers, retaining walls, road curbs, crash barriers, and used them to
ensure trains do not fall off the sides of the layout, all this and keeping
it looking realistic and like it belongs. I have purchesed two boxes at
a craft store at $5.00 for 1000 count. Try this and experiment like I did
and see what comes.
Craft sticks are very versatile and can be easily cut and glued in a
short amount of time. JUST A TIP. ken[8D]

Are these the same as “Popsicle” sticks? If not, perhaps you could describe them?

Great idea, thanks for the tip.

Are you talking about the ones that look like match sticks w/out the fire stuff on the end?

Sorry for not clarifying, yes, these look like used popsicle sticks that have
been bleached or something. Alot of kindergarten kids use these things
to make Christmas stuff out of in art class. My daughter brought one home
and I went looking for these things and WOW! was I impressed .

I have an MDC car box of real Used Popsicle sticks. I use them for many things and find them indispensable, also. And, although $5.00 for a thousand is a steal, I got mine essentially for free and hey, the Popsicles were good, too.
