II did get a lot of error messages about lack of clipart for the CZ, and then it “had to close” and so I moved the CZ files into another folder so it wouldnt crash anymore…I’m never going to be able to drive it…
I’ll look for the locos in a minute.

I have recently installed the Micorsoft upgrade and now all I get when I try to start the program is this error, “Trian Simulator Requires Hardware Acceleration”.
Any ideas on what to do about it?
Pentuim 4, 1.8 GHz, 522 RAM, Windows 2000, Graphics card: Intel 82845G/GL graphics adaptor, lots of hard drive space

NOT A BUMP!
I was just running a train over marias, the whole route, with a SF warbonnet SD75 and 3 GP60Ms, pulling 50 roadrailers, all SF, when I saw a police car meander across the tracks at a grade crossing in front of me. I quickly applied the emergency brakes, and barely missed it. Then I took off the brakes, throttled up, trying to keep a tight schedule, and though “Hmm the back of my train appears to be lagging. Must be like that when you have too many cars” and then “hmm, I can’t see any cars around this car, which is also lagging” and then " That is so weird, the back of my train is moving backwards…wait a sec…## S**T!!and I threw my broken train into emergancy brake.

Win 98 isn’t a problem with train sim - if anything it should help as it’s not making as many demands on the PC as later O/S. Mine runs for hours with no problems. I’ve yet to have the idiot virtual cop though - deer wandering onto the line are more of a nuisance, no matter how hard you blast the horn they won’t get off the rails!
